DUELIST: PvP Sensitivity Settings

Sensitivity fundamentals

Sensitivity determines how far your crosshair moves per inch of mouse movement, thumb drag, or stick tilt. Too high causes overshoot on flicks; too low leaves backs turned during close flanks. DUELIST: PvP's third-person camera adds parallax — your reticle and character alignment differ from first-person shooters.

Separate hip-fire and ADS sensitivity when the game allows. ADS lower sens stabilizes mid-range duels with rifles topping the S-tier list. Hip-fire higher sens helps tracking in CQC with SMGs.

Change one variable at a time and test in duels, not only static walls.

PC: DPI and eDPI

eDPI = mouse DPI × in-game sensitivity. Many PC players land between 800–2400 eDPI equivalent for DUELIST: PvP-style arena combat. 400 DPI at sens 1.5 and 800 DPI at sens 0.75 feel identical.

Disable Windows mouse acceleration. Use consistent mousepad size — measure how many cm for a 360° turn and record in sensitivity presets.

After finding hip-fire sens, set ADS multiplier so scoped flicks match muscle memory — often 70–85% of hip sens.

Mobile and gyro tuning

Touch sensitivity splits look speed and acceleration. Start medium-low to reduce overshoot on small screens. Gyro sensitivity should be lower than touch — micro tilts, not wrist flips.

Claw players may use higher touch sens on non-aim fingers. See mobile controls for HUD tips.

Console deadzone curves

Response curves shape how fast aim accelerates from stick center. Linear versus exponential preference varies. Fix hardware drift before raising deadzones — masking drift hurts fine aim.

Aim assist strength may interact with sens — if magnet feels sticky, slightly lower ADS sens. Cross-reference console controls for button layout efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should ADS sens be lower than hip-fire?
Usually yes for precision weapons. SMG rushers sometimes keep them closer.
How do I convert sens from other games?
Use our presets tool as a baseline — no universal converter exists for Roblox titles.
Does FOV affect sensitivity feel?
Higher FOV can make aim feel faster at screen edges. Retune after FOV changes.
How often should I change sens?
Rarely. Stick with a setting at least a week before judging.
