DUELIST: PvP Controls
Controls shape your duel outcomes
DUELIST: PvP is a third-person arena shooter where aim consistency and movement tech separate ranks. The game supports PC keyboard/mouse, mobile touch with optional gyro, and console controllers with aim assist. Each platform shares the same weapon mechanics but differs in input precision and camera control.
Misconfigured sensitivity causes missed flicks in 1v1 and whiffed tracking in 2v2. Before grinding ranked, spend ten minutes in the practice lobby tuning settings documented across our platform guides. Cross-play lobbies mean mobile players face PC sweats — compensating with positioning from combat positioning matters as much as raw aim.
This hub links PC, mobile, console, and sensitivity deep dives. Pair reading with the sensitivity presets tool for downloadable starter values.
Shared mechanics across platforms
All platforms use hip-fire and aim-down-sights (ADS) variants per weapon, dodge/roll on a cooldown, melee or ability buttons depending on loadout, and interact for graffiti placement or objective nodes in team modes. Jump and crouch enable vertical peeks on arena crates and ledges detailed in positioning tips.
Weapon swap, reload, and grenade/utility slots follow battle-royale-adjacent layouts familiar to Roblox PvP players. There is no custom full rebind on all platforms yet during beta — expect partial options in settings.
Audio cues for reloads and footsteps are stereo by default. Headphones recommended on every platform for duel awareness.
Choosing your platform
PC offers highest precision for flick shots with sniper and burst rifles topping the S-tier weapons list. Mobile suits short session grinding with auto-fire weapons; read the mobile guide for claw grip setups. Console balances aim assist with comfortable couch play — strong for tracking SMGs.
Regardless of device, calibrate sensitivity so a full mousepad or thumb swipe rotates roughly 180–360 degrees depending on preference. Our sensitivity settings page explains eDPI equivalents and ADS multipliers.
Practice routine
Warm up in free aim duels before ranked 1v1. Test ADS transitions on moving targets at mid range — the most common duel distance in DUELIST: PvP arenas. Adjust one setting at a time; changing horizontal and vertical sens simultaneously obscures what helped.
After patches listed in patch notes, recheck sensitivity. FOV or camera changes during beta sometimes invalidate old presets.
